Well, I've let my sub lapse! I have more important things to pay for than dev at the moment
Not to worry though; saves a lot of dicking about really, doesn't it? Writing journals that is.

Recently my health has suffered some rather huge blows; I won't detail- but I have become quite reclusive! I am trying to fix that; but trust is a rare commodity, and hard to come by these days. I'm far less willing to give second chances or go out of my way.
That being said though; this year- 2009, I've made some really brilliant new friends; and strengthened some of my already close friendships; even with those overseas.

So! Whats happening now for Kaios?

I am about to finish an Aged Care Certificate III course; and have applied to university for Nursing for the next three years. I've sat the stat test; and will find out early in the new year if I have a position at my chosen university. Very exciting. I love care work; there is something really satisfying about it; not sure what but its been great.
I've taken a huge step away from my clothing business, Vitae; closing custom commissions and working on a top secret project which I hope will come to fruition in the new year with the assistance of Mariko-senpai from Melbourne's One Day In Paradise- I love that woman; she's amazing!
And from there - can only be greater heights for Vitae Clothing.
Don't be sad about the commissions though; I am still making standard Lolita range so if you want anything like that don't hesitate to contact me! I have a few bits and bobs to offer over at the etsy too, so keep in touch! [link]

I've also found a renewed vigor for cosplay. Thanks to the inspirtional peices by people such as ~torment-lies-within and *chioky, I am finally ready to take the next step with cosplay; starting with weapons making and pedantic accuracy.
The cosplays I plan to do in 2010 are:

Hikaru Shidou from Magic Knights Rayearth - First Armor Form
I'm hopeful to find some other girls who think they'd suit Umi or Fuu too This one is for AVCon

Naomi Armitage from Armitage III (The first one) Outfit you see her wearing in the Airport + the gun
This one is also for AVCon I need to work off some of my tooshy before donning those hot pants though!!

Kuchiki Rukia from Bleach
This one i may not do; its just an "if I feel like it" cosplay since I have a similar wig.

And I may- JUST MAY start work on my ultimate cosplay,
Priss from BubbleGum Crisis in her Hardsuit, first type.
Priss has always been a dream of mine to do- but I want to literally make the whole suit; so no soft bits, including the casing and all. Its going to take ages so i'm not setting a timeframe for it. The others should I do them will have a deadline of 2011- they must all be finished by then


I'm so glad to have rediscovered my love of cosplay- I've really missed it!

Anyway i've just written a huge bunch of crap; probably time to sign off
